So, an enormous baleen whale washed ashore in Pt. Aransas today.

There were hundreds of onlookers throughout the day.

The female whale had died at sea and became stuck on this sandbar in Pt.A.  So, these dudes hooked her up some heavy equipment to move it up to the sand dunes.

You see two huge tractors in this shot, but it ended up taking three to move the creature…estimated at 15 tons…

So, in the end this magnificent creature finds its final resting place in the sand dunes of Pt. Aransas, Texas.
